Merry Christmas my beauties.
It’s finally the day that we’ve all been counting down to, the birth of Christ. Let’s thank God for all the opportunities, guidance, and love he has blessed us with. To me, Christmas is about family and friendship, spending time in good company with those who are occupied the majority of the year, creating memories through cooking, playing games (like monopoly or charades), and watching movies (usually Home Alone). As it’s a day of celebration, reflection, and thankfulness, choosing the ideal outfit can be quite difficult, finding a style that feels festive, comfortable to wear and exudes confidence, can be a mission sometimes. When I first wake up I usually chill around in my bright pink onesie, with white patterns on the chest. It’s cosy and warm hence perfect for the morning chill when opening presents.
Sparkles, sparkles and more sparkles; that’s one way to describe my Christmas style. My outfit inspiration came from focusing on my long side-slitted skirt as the main item, then I continued adding pieces until I felt it was ideal for the celebration. I paired the skirt with a cream cardigan with embroidery and gemstones. The cardigan is warm and stylish which makes it practical; I know the saying goes fashion is pain, but please not every day. To make the outfit more festive, I added fluffy red and black socks and a traditional Christmas hat which complimented the cream and pink in the attire. As for jewellery, I continued the theme of sparkles, by adding silver studded earrings and a gold plated necklace with a crystal feature. From my outfit inspirations, I think it’s apparent that I adore anything shiny, sparkly, or glitzy. These three categories can take an outfit from casual to dressed up in a matter of seconds if you accessorise well. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you’re enjoying this day of festivities in style, I’ll be cooking some delicious dishes and spending quality family time.
What do you wear on Christmas Day?
Until next time, stay blessed and classy,
