London Fashion Week Highlights | SS18

Another season
Screaming diversity matters
Hello again old friend
London Fashion Week
We meet again
How are you holding up?
Much better than I
I imagine
With luxury and glamour
But that wasn't the reality
For both
The struggling writer and designer
Looking for a piece
A big break perhaps
Yet fashion runs in their veins
A self-expression
Style is arbitrary
Fashion is not set in stone
Though trends may arise
It's our decision
Whether to follow the direction
To follow or rebel
Now that is the question
A transitional period
What to wear
Is on the mind of many
Opting for a mix
Navy and Mustard
Am I a style inspiration?
Perhaps to myself
The world is yet to make a verdict
Crowds
Dressed in fierce reds
An array of dusty pinks
And the warmth of mustard yellow
But enough about them
Let's move to the main event.

Attending various catwalks and presentations over the space of two days, I had to manage my time effectively in order to make it to most of the shows. Three shows that stood out for me at Fashion Scout were Malan Breton, Semir and Rangeen Riot. Each show was memorable for various reasons, the collections were bold and honestly got me excited for summer 2018. Trends revealled for next season, are you ready?

- Our wardrobes will be full of softer hues with plenty of sorbet colours to choose from.
- Styling red and milennial pink together has received the green light, romantic duo if done correctly.
- Sheer made an appearance on multiple runways as outerwear and overlays.
- Ruffles aren't leaving anytime soon, the delicate, fluttery trend is here to stay for another season.
- Like to make statements? Well, silver has you covered, coming in various designs, be the showstopper among your friends.

What was your favourite part of London Fashion Week?

Until next time, stay blessed and classy,
