Date Night Outfit Inspirations | Spring Edition

Kindness is really important to me in finding my own prince - so are patience and a sense of humor. Without those qualities he's no Prince Charming! - Anne Hathaway

Hello-Hello, we all love a good date night, but one anxiety-inducing thought always occurs pre-date, what am I going to wear? But not to worry lovelies, no fuss outfit inspirations are here. I've got you covered this season, whether you want feminine, playful, or casual chic, there's something for everyone. Sit back, relax and get inspired.

Mauve Princess
Head out for a night of art and culture, whether that's going to a museum or theatre, it's nice to add a bit of sophistication to the occasion through your attire. The lilac tutu inspired skirt was the focal point, I then added a purple long sleeve top to contrast the lighter hue of the skirt. I completed the look with white pointed heels and a pearl set - am I classy enough? I think so. I decided to keep the makeup light and delicate as the outfit was screaming femininity. Three words for this outfit, romantic, elegant and respected.

Floral Goddess
One trend this season that you need to get involved in are florals. This outfit is ideal for various situations from Holland Park to a concert at the O2, practical yet glamorous from daytime to nighttime. Floral playsuit indicates a playful nature in your personality, paired with trainers only implies you're ready for adventure - because you could of worn heels/wedges with this outfit. I decided to add a glossy red tint to heighten the playfulness of the attire and add a pop of colour. Three words pop into mind, sexy, flirty and fun.

Suede Superstar
Head out for dinner, karaoke or simply grab a couple drinks at the bar in a suede mini skirt and statement boots. Dial the outfit down by pairing it with a graphic t-shirt and stylish backpack, or to go all out, trade the t-shirt for a silk blouse which adds sex appeal in a subtle way. The messy slide swept hair implies glamor and rock chic simultaneously, completing the outfit perfectly, as it is a combination of the two. Three words come into mind, laid-back, calm and spontaneous.

  1. Loving this lookbook! I think that the second outfit is my favourite, it's definitely something I'd wear! Really feminine and floral, as well as having a kick-ass edge with those trainers! A fab post as always, Tajinder! Thanks for sharing!
