Colours Of The Soul

Patience doesn't mean making a pact with the devil of denial, ignoring our emotions and aspirations. It means being wholeheartedly engaged in the process that's unfolding, rather than ripping open a budding flower or demanding a caterpillar hurry up and get that chrysalis stage over with. - Sharon Salzberg

No rule, no guides
Temporarily lost
Seen as the underdog
Searching for happiness
In all aspects of life
Yet not feeling satisfied
Confusion?
Illusion?
Happiness?
Or depression?
Hold up
Pause
Do these thoughts benefit me?
What am I learning?
Less feelings
More productivity
Focus on what needs your attention
Reflect regularly
The creative process
Though different for each individual
We all require an environment
An extra boost
To allow our creativity to flourish
Empower your inner queen (or king)
The colours of the soul are ever changing
From lows
To highs
It's all a journey
Remember your priorities
In every direction you pursue
I want to create kick-ass content
Spread positivity
And hopefully, inspire (at least) one individual

What's your creative process?

Until next time, stay blessed and classy,

  4. I could really imagine you delivering this as a spoken word performance, Tajinder! I always love reading your poetry and this was no exception, everything you write is so raw and real! I respect you a lot!

  5. "The colors of the soul are ever changing" -- wow. This line really speaks to me, especially at a time when I'm feeling like a soap bubble that looks different from different angles.

And I *wish* I could discipline my creative process...it sort of sneaks up on me in quiet, reflective moments!

    1. I'm glad my writing resonated with you Emily. We all have those moments, you're beautiful regardless of such feelings.

Savour the solitude as it can create or inspire some interesting content plus it's great for reflecting at life.

      Tx.
