Accessorize Haul (ft. Adrienne Bailon)

It's not what you spend but how you wear it that counts. The key is often to dress up inexpensive basics with accessories. Something like a beautiful designer bag or belt can make everything else look richer and more luxurious. - Chloe Sevigny
As there are currently sales around, I decidedly to go to my favourite shop Accessorize to see if they had had anything that caught my eye. I decided to treat myself to a few items, then it hit me, why not share my little haul with my lovely readers. Every item I purchased was beautifully wrapped in pink tissue paper, so it really did feel like a gift to myself.

1. Heart Necklace
I love simple necklaces, especially as they exude classiness, and usually works with most daily outfits. When I was younger I use to wear a believe necklace that I cherished so much, and it gave me a reminder to not lose hope and believe in myself. But then, the unthinkable happened... It broke. Since then I haven't found the perfect necklace to rock on a daily, until today. To me, the heart represents openness, as well as all those who I love and hold so dearly in my heart - so thank you Accessorize for this delight.

2. Square Hoop Earrings
Despite owning numerous pairs of hoops, I naturally gravitated towards the square hoop earrings, they looked different, yet very chic, especially paired with dungarees and a baseball cap. Let your inner tomboy out in a stylish way.

3. Half Marble Studs
Marble is currently on trend, and I'm absolutely loving it, especially my new phone case which I got from Coconut Lane, read more about that here. I already own a larger pair of black and gold studs, however I wanted a smaller version, as some days I want my jewellery to be subtle, not everyday statement pieces, you know what I mean?

4: Pastel Nail Varnish
I wanted to buy new nail varnish, but particularly in pastel colours since I already have bright, summer editions, I wanted to get a few more subtle colours. I invested in White Out and Almond, both bottles were packaged in unique faceted bottles. As soon as I returned home, I applied the white out, the application was easy, quick drying and popped with colour (with two coats).

Whilst writing this I realised everything I bought had a theme of simplicity, elegance, and very on trend.
When it comes to jewellery do you prefer statement pieces, or simplicity?

Stay blessed and classy,

  2. Normally, I prefer small subtle pieces like yourself but sometimes I feel like going bold and going for a statement piece. I really liked your haul, very nice pieces. The heart necklace is cute and I'd be interested to see the hoop earrings on you!!
