A Little Update

Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing. - Thomas A. Edison

Dissertation, deadlines, and other assignments have kept me pretty busy and not to mention stressed, but I can't complain really, this is the life of a final year university student. It takes effort to earn that £9K a year degree and graduate with sanity, haha. I can honestly admit that I've had a few break downs during this year, but I've overcome all the obstacles. Final year can be difficult, but it's to test our abilities. I'm happy to announce that I've submitted my final assignment - as BeyoncĂ© would say Freedom cut me lose - now I'll have more time for blogging, which I'm ecstatic about.

In addition to my academic endeavours, I also have ambitions to own a successful events and promotions company that offers event planning, organisation, hosting and creation of local and national events plus much more. I hope I can manifest this aspiration into a reality, but success is a long journey of experience, so this is the beginning of my adventure, wish me well, haha. In addition to this I am also looking for a job, as to start my own business, I need capital to invest into it. I really hope to get a marketing, social media or events management position, these would be my ideal jobs, however I'm open to anything that enhances my experience.

We all need human interaction once in a while, so I've had to balance all my obligations, in order to meet deadlines, host events, and attend social occasions. I recently took a road trip to Portland - that's near Dorset, for those who are thinking of America - it was great being in the company of ambitious young women, who I look up to so much, but that's for another post. This was simply a little update to announcement I'm back and better than ever my dearies, with all things lifestyle, fashion, and music, I hope you enjoy it.

Stay blessed and classy,
