Manicure Monday | Spring Edition

I love pampering myself, so going for a massage or getting a mani-pedi makes me feel instantly better. When my nails are done I feel so much better - it's the little things that make me so happy, and you literally feel polished. - Jessica Lowndes

As we enter the season of Spring, which is full of new life, warmer weather, and joyous occasions, this is the time to renew our wardrobes, homes, and overall reevaluate our lives in the midst of spring cleaning. Trends, beauty routines. and fashion changes. Recently I've been hooked to Instagram looking at nails and getting inspiration, keep in style with the some pastel nail colours - that will definitely remind you of Easter - and pastels scream spring.

During winter my go-to nail colours were matt black, dark purple, and mahogany. I personally adore matt nails especially for autumn/winter colours, however I'm wondering if they would work just as well for spring inspired nails. Pastel colours look vibrant in their shiny forms, add a few sparkles, glitter, or patterns and brighten up your day.

There are so many colours to choose from, but this spring I'm most likely to be rocking a soft grey, sheer pink, or a perhaps a brighter peachy melon shade. They're all colourful shades and go in line with this festive Easter. What colour(s) are you planning on wearing this spring?

I admire gel manicures, I've only had one done in my life, and that was for my 18th birthday back in sixth form. I've really been wanting to get them done again, I think this is the perfect excuse to treat myself to a spring inspired manicure. Those who are familiar with Nottingham, where's the best place to get my nails done?

Thanks for reading, I hope everyone enjoys the Easter holidays coming up, as for the students preparing for exams and coursework, work hard and pass with flying colours.

Until next time, stay blessed and classy,
