You're Beautiful Dear (J-Unity - Queen)

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone. - Audrey Hepburn

As Jeannie Mai would say, use the way you look, to change the way you feel (also known as #Wearapy). We’re all beautiful, God made us in the image of him, he didn’t create no fools, so you best work it to the best of your ability. Ignore the negative comments of others; they are dealing with their own demons thus projecting those feelings upon others, don’t let it define you. When you have faith, you’re always enough as you are, that doesn’t mean you should stop improving yourself. Self-development helps us to become better individuals and progress further in life.

In a world full of hatred, materialism, and struggles, it is rare to see positivity shine through the cracks. J-Unity bring a message of self-love inspired by their mother, they dedicate a song from their recent release VH&1 honouring their Queen and all women in general. Women are such beautiful creatures yet taught to look, act and present themselves in a certain way to fit the norm of society. I find it refreshing to hear someone reaffirming that every woman is the definition of beauty, their flaws are what make them unique and charming.

Women sacrifice quite a lot, always thinking what is the best solution for everyone involved. From escaping family struggles, poverty, violence, war, or working even harder to provide a better life for her family. Women you should know your worth, you bring perfection to this Earth, yet get taken for granted (especially in the Western world). We need to instill values of appreciation, hard work and self-love of humanity as well as seeing the struggles of others to truly appreciate our own situations and be awakened – we’re actually quite blessed.

What are your views on J-Unity's newest single?

Until next time, stay blessed and classy,
